Saving A Life Through Art

“Give a street kid some paint and let him do art.”

This is the caption for a picture I recently came across on Facebook (see below). And it touched me at a very deep level, being an artist myself. Art is beauty. It’s therapeutic. It’s peaceful. And more importantly, it’s a life-saver, especially for these children whose fates inevitably encompass hate and violence.

    • Thank you so much for your kind comment, Cauldrons and Cupcakes! Really appreciate your dropping by! ๐Ÿ™‚
P.s.: I LOVE your name! So delectable ๐Ÿ™‚ Do you bake?

      • LOL! You’re so cute! I love baking, but I’m not that great at it. It’s truly an art form. And I really admire people who are great at it, especially when it comes to designing cakes and what not. Love it! I even actually prefer baking over cooking. Cooking bores me, blah! Love your blog too, can’t wait to check it out. ๐Ÿ™‚

I'd love to read your thoughts!
